JOB DETAILS:
- A newly licensed Micro Finance Bank in Lagos is looking for experienced and success-driven Relationship Managers (RMs) with proven experience in the management of retail and group loans in the informal markets sector.
- The RMs responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services and products through email and phone, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Meet and maintain monthly sales targets
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Manage and grow existing relationships effectively
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their business needs and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Participate on behalf of the company in market exhibitions
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum of OND
- Minimum of 2 years Sales/Marketing (Microfinance) experience
- Proven experience in Sales/Marketing in the Micro-Finance Banking sector
- Proven experience in cash collection, savings mobilisation and retail/group
- loans management in the informal markets sector
- Proficiency in English and must reside around Alimosho LGA (compulsory)
- A good understanding of Lagos markets’ dynamics
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
