Job Brief
- We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Supervisors to join our growing team. In this position, successful candidates will play a key role in providing excellent leadership skills needed to continually improve generated revenue.
- You will supervise, coordinate, and manage sales representatives under your jurisdiction to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- The role holders will be responsible for the supervision and overseeing sales of commodities, driving sales initiatives, brand promotion and effective sales team management.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of salespersons.
- Organize and coordinate sales representatives/officers’ schedules.
- Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
- Conduct training and retraining of old and new sales representatives.
- Report to the Regional Managers on all relevant matters.
- Act as a point of contact for both salespersons and potential customer.
- Track daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
- Meet all sales quotas and goals
- Assist sales representatives/officers and team to meet and exceed goals
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
- 7- 10 years’ related experience working with an FCMG company
- Related experience selling commodities will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated and proven sales results.
- Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts; may include entering and tracking merchandise, and scheduling with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented.
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the market
- Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide correct answers, paths, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time and people efficiently.
