Overview
- As a Social Media Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing the social media strategy for a company or organization.
- You will be responsible for managing a team of social media specialists and ensuring that all social media channels are effectively utilized to achieve the company’s marketing and communication goals.
- This role involves strategizing, planning, and monitoring social media activities, as well as staying up-to-date with industry trends to drive engagement and growth.

- Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s objectives, target audience, and brand identity.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of social media specialists, assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing guidance to ensure they meet their objectives.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create compelling and engaging content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
- Content Calendar: Create and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule across all platforms.
- Audience Engagement: Foster a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics. Provide regular reports and insights to improve strategies.
- Advertising Campaigns: Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility, reach, and engagement.
- Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure that all social media activities comply with relevant guidelines and policies.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the social media landscape.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s Degree a plus).
- Proven experience in social media management, with 3 – 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Creative thinking and the ability to think outside the box to engage audiences effectively.
- Proficiency in social media advertising and analytics tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Crisis management and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance.
- Candidate must reside in Lekki and environs.
