JOB TITLE: Social Media Officer / IT Specialist
JOB LOCATION: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Install and Configure Networks
- Work directly with an organization’s servers and networks, performing setup, enhancement, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensures that employees’ work stations can successfully connect to networks and access business-critical data at all times.
- Configure network security settings and connect peripheral devices, like printers and scanners, that are used by multiple users.
- Manage Databases
- Build the organization’s database architecture so that data is correctly stored and easily accessible.
- Set up data storage and retrieval protocols, adjusting permissions, and maintaining data security and integrity during migrations, backups, and day-to-day use.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 – 10 years relevant work experience.
