Primary Function
- The purpose of this position is to provide technical guidance to PHI/ICHSSA 4 partner CSO in the implementation of technical program activities for community-based HIV Care and Support in the ICHSSA 4 Program.
- Under the direction of the Technical Advisor, s/he will collaborate closely with the ICHSSA team to roll out and implement an integrated and holistic community-based response to HIV/AIDS towards scaling up access to HIV prevention and care services for vulnerable children and their caregivers.

- Support the M&E work of the Civil Society Organizations (CSO) in the implementation and use of the ICHSSA 4 M&E system.
- Support the training of CSO staff in the ICHSSA 4 M&E system including the NOMIS forms and database
- Work closely with the CSO M&E officers to manage M&E tools distribution.
- Support CSO M&E staff in their work with the community care workers (CCWs or equivalent) to ensure that sufficient training is done for CCWs, that the correct forms are used and that accurate reports are submitted on a timely basis.
- Ensure the documentation of mentoring and supportive supervision process for CSOs
- Visit CSO partners regularly to conduct spot checklist and data validation
- Support CSO data analysis and use
- Support data review and validation at the CSO and state levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Specialist Strategic Information.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years relevant work experience.
Key Working Relationships / Representation:
- Represent the ICHSSA 4 consortium in external technical meetings, conferences, and workshops related to strategic information
- Liaise and coordinate with other HIV Prevention Care & Support actors, including SMOH, SMWASD NACA government, the UN system, other NGOs, learning institutions and civil society actors to promote synergy, share lessons learned and avoid duplication.
- Link State, LGA, and CSO staff to relevant HIV Prevention Care & Support technical and coordination forums.
