- The Telesales Supervisor plays a critical role in managing and coaching a team of telesales representatives and ensuring that the team meets and exceeds sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
- The Telesales Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Lead Telesales and work to optimize processes and strategies to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of telesales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions to provide feedback and guidance.
Sales Performance:
- Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance against these targets.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize sales processes and results.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that Telesales executives adhere to company sales scripts, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor call quality and provide feedback for improvement.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of telesales representatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to share with the team.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Oversee and guide the team in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales data and team performance metrics.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the Lead Telesales
Workflow Management:
- Ensure efficient workflow management, including call routing, lead distribution, and follow-up procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and communication.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure that the telesales team adheres to all relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in telesales or inside sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
Job Knowledge:
- Proven experience as a Telesales supervisor, contact center supervisor or other sales/customer service role supervisor.
- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone and digital channels
- Good knowledge of digital channels including bulk SMS, social media and emails.
