Job Title: Training, Assessment & Certification Officer

Job Description
- Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to design and develop comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Create and update training materials, resources and content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Oversee the delivery of training programs, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning formats.
- Conduct training sessions as needed, ensuring high-quality instruction and engagement.
- Develop and maintain training curricula, outlining learning objectives competencies and progression pathways.
- Ensure the curricula meet industry standards and certification requirements.
- Design assessment methods, examinations and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training programs.
- Partner with relevant certification bodies for appropriate certifications.
- Manage the certification process, including eligibility criteria, examinations, and certification issuance.
- Collect and analyze data on training outcomes, participant feedback, and performance assessments.
- Use evaluation findings to enhance training content, delivery methods, and certification processes.
- Oversee the selection and management of learning management systems (LMS) or other digital platforms used for training.
- Ensure the availability of training resources, such as e-learning modules, videos, and reference materials.
- Ensure that training programs and certification processes adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high training standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including trainers, subject matter experts, and certifying bodies, to enhance training offerings.
- Foster positive relationships with participants and provide support throughout their training journey.
- Prepare regular reports on training activities, assessments, certification achievements, and program effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of participant progress and certification statuses.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in training, assessment, and certification processes.
- Work with the relevant Business development/ Business associate on developing new prospects, proposal writing and presentation to prospects.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Education, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related discipline.
- Professional Certifications: Certified Professional in learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) etc.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in training and development, industrial design, assessment and certification processes.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, training delivery and assessment design.
- Experience in managing training and certification programs within an organization.
- Strong skills in designing and implementing assessment methods, evaluations and performance metrics to measure training effectiveness.
- Ability to analyze assessment data and use it to improve training programs.
- Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually.
- Effective presentation and facilitation skills; verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audience.
