Job Description
- As an Upholsterer, you would be responsible to repair, maintain, and upholster furniture and curtain throughout the facility to ensure an attractive and well-maintained facility.
What will I be doing?
As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Visually inspect, and diagnose the problem with couches, chairs, and other upholstered furniture, takes measurements and makes necessary repairs.
- Responds to customer complaints pertaining to the upholstery of couches, chairs, and other furniture, takes measurements and makes necessary repairs.
- Performs shop work to repair or upholster new furniture.
- Applies preventive maintenance program to furniture.
- Maintains records on orders and repairs made to furniture.
- Maintains adequate supplies and materials in order to maintain the hotel’s upholstered furniture department when needed.

- Minimum of HND qualification
- 3 years of housekeeping experience required
- Previous industrial sewing experience is required.
- Previous industrial sewing experience is required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team
