Job Title: Customer Satisfaction Representative (Day Old Chicks)

Job Description
- As a Sales Representative for day-old chicks at Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering relationships with customers in the poultry industry.
- Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell our day-old chicks to poultry farmers, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Actively seek out new customers and business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent service and support.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Understand customers’ needs and requirements and recommend suitable day-old chick products accordingly.
- Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers, including information on breeding, genetics, and health management.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Gather feedback from customers and market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to management.
Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on best practices for raising day-old chicks.
- Offer ongoing support and assistance to customers to ensure the successful rearing of chicks and optimal performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the poultry industry.
- Knowledge of poultry farming practices, genetics, and health management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven with a passion for achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
