Job Title: Director of Digital Strategy and Sales (Media)

Responsibilities
- As Director of Digital Strategy and Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our client’s digital marketing services portfolio.
- You will lead the development of new business opportunities, define strategies to expand revenue, and guide the creation of customised and innovative solutions that meet client’s specific goals and needs.
- Your role will involve analysing prospective client’s digital footprints, conducting pitches and presentations, driving relationships with decision-makers at top-tier companies across Nigeria, and working closely with the Account Management team.
- You will also represent the company at events, manage team learning sessions, review proposals developed by your team, and perform weekly checks of CRM inputs.
- Develop and implement a business development strategic plan
- Achieve monthly sales gross profit targets
- Analyse prospective client’s digital footprint to develop digital & content strategies for their businesses
- Conduct pitches and presentations to persuade potential customers
- Drive relationships with decision-makers at tier-1 companies across Nigeria
- Work with the Account Management team to ensure services sold are delivered to clients to maximise client retention
- Represent the company at events and network and build relationships with potential clients and partners
- Perform weekly checks of the team’s inputs into the CRM to ensure full visibility into the sales pipeline
- Review proposals developed by members of the team
- Manage team learning sessions and enable knowledge sharing on an ongoing basis with the Sales teams internationally
Requirements
- The ideal Director of Digital Strategy and Sales will bring a wealth of experience in sales or business development in a senior-level management role, preferably within the Sales/Digital/ IT/Creative/ Digital Media/ Marketing/ Advertising industries.
- You will be a creative thinker who can connect 360° digital to all aspects of a client’s business and drive growth opportunities.
- Your solid understanding of digital marketing, excellent networking skills, and demonstrated ability in key client/partner relationship management will be crucial to your success in this role.
- You will also possess excellent people leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, start-up environment with dynamic business priorities.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Zoho CRM is desirable
