Job Title: Manager – Strategic Partnership
Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The Strategic Partnership Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic partnerships that drive business growth and align with the company’s objectives.
- This role involves conducting market research, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, negotiating and finalizing partnership agreements, and working closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and management of partnership.
Responsibilities
Identify Partnership Opportunities:
- Research and Analysis; Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential partners that align with our strategic objectives. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to uncover partnership opportunities.
- Strategic Alignment; Ensure potential partners align with our company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Develop and Maintain Relationships:
- Relationship Building; Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to showcase the benefits of collaboration. Networking; Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential partners.
Negotiate and Seal Deals:
- Negotiation; Lead negotiations to finalize partnership agreements, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial. Legal Coordination;Prepare and review contracts and legal documents in collaboration with the legal team to ensure compliance and protect company interests.
Coordinate with Internal Teams:
- Cross-Department Collaboration;Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation of partnership initiatives.
- Reporting; Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on partnership activities and progress.
Manage Partnerships:
- Implementation Oversight; Oversee the implementation of partnership agreements to ensure objectives are met.
- Issue Resolution; Address and resolve any issues that arise during the partnership lifecycle promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and securing partnership deals.
- Strong understanding of market trends and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Market Research skills
