Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager who possesses a deep understanding of luxury residential projects.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion while adhering to high-quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, deliverables, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure designs are adhered to in execution.
Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with budget projections, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality of work.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and subcontractors.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are maintained on-site.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to report on project status and address concerns.
- Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and project documentation.
Contract Administration:
- Oversee contract negotiations and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Project completion within budget and time constraints.
- Quality metrics and compliance with safety regulations.
- Client satisfaction ratings and feedback.
- Number of projects successfully completed on time and within scope.
- Team performance and development metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
- Proven experience managing budgets exceeding N900 million.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS, etc.) will be considered an asset.
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
