Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to ensure the team meets its goals.
- Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to assess progress and address challenges.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to enhance lead generation efforts.
- Forecast sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and ensure the sales team is addressing them effectively.
- Handle high-level client interactions and negotiate major deals.
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure efficient processes are in place.
- Implement CRM systems and ensure the sales team utilizes them effectively.
- Manage sales budgets and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Identify new markets and customer segments to expand the business.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on market insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 5years of experience and at least.3 years in a managerial role within plastic manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary
N350,000 per month.
