JOB TITLE: Retail Floor Manager
JOB LOCATION: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
JOB DETAILS:
- Increase business opportunities through marketing, with a goal to source for target clients.
- Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities.
- Achieve the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Sales Target.
- Ensure compliance with company merchandising policy for all Product types.
- Listen to customer requirements and interact effectively to increase patronage/volume of sales
- Feed future buying trends back to employers.
- Upsell, Cross Sell Company products and services.
- Inform customers of shop promotions to encourage purchase.
- Perform regular price audits to identify and correct price discrepancies.
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and deliveries accordingly
- Ensure that the reorder levels are maintained at all times, restock depleted or low shop items.
- Ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
- Stay up-to-date on THL products and services, new pricing and payment plans.
- Consistently develop and execute monthly, quarterly, annual sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives
- Monitoring and evaluating sales performance while also providing recommendations.
Education and Experience
- OND or equivalent in any discipline.
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in sales, interiors or home essentials will be an added advantage
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Selling skills and the ability to influence people ·
- Strong relationship building and management skills with the ability to build relationships with people in the industry ·
- Passionate and knowledgeable about company product ·
- Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities by reviewing sales data
- The ambition to develop a great career in sales and to have the opportunity to take ownership of their own territory and make it a success ·
- Analytical skills and ability to translate complex sales reports into meaningful business knowledge
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
