JOB DETAILS
- To coordinate the HQ sales activities and provide back-office support for regional sales operations towards achievement of company’s sales objectives
- To provide innovative ideas in support of strategies for the profitable growth of company sales, revenue and bottom-line.
Key Responsibilities
Support the actualization of the unit goals and targets by:
- Contributing to development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, structures, policies, processes and tools that assist the company identify and maximize revenue opportunities across sales regions.
- Proactively researching and tracking changes/trends in poultry products purchase and consumption, patterns/requirements to improve sales strategies, sales and marketing opportunities
- Collating orders and promoting sales of company’s products to prospective and existing customers using persuasion and influencing technique
- Developing and adopting innovative customer retention strategies and client relationship management techniques that are compliance with company policies and standards.
Coordinate the HQ team to drive sales objectives by:
- Collating orders, confirming prices, product requirements and availability
- Updating customers’ statements and following up for timely payment of receivables across all markets
- Acting as liaison between the sales team and various supporting functions of the company
- Scheduling and coordinating product deliveries based on agreed timeline
- Planning product allocation to distributors and HQ sales activities
- Assisting to resolve complaints and issues to maximize satisfaction and repeat purchases
- Keeping updated record of customer’s sales data vis-a-vis; name, location, contact, purchase order, payments, receivables
- Ensuring flow of communication on performance and management expectations
- Collate and report weekly sales forecast and associated revenue targets of all the markets which supports the strategic objectives of the company and financial liquidity.
- Collate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly report of sales activities which tracks:
- KPIs actual vs budgeted
- Market acquisition, revenue growth and sales drive activity
- Carry-out other functions that may be assigned to you by the national sales manager or management from time-to-time in attainment of the department goals
Educational / Professional Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of HND, B.Sc in Sales and Marketing or Related Fields.
- Professional certificate / MBA will be an added advantage.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years cognate experience in FMCG or related fields.
