JOB TITLE: Sales Development Representative
JOB LOCATIONS: Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria

JOB DETAILS:
- We are looking for a self-starter that is committed and passionate about our purpose, ambition, and values to help launch our products in the retail market and build our brand and customer loyalty.
- You will be responsible for business development, sourcing new leads, onboarding and managing B2B customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Customise product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients
- Report sales results to Area Sales Manager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Stay up-to-date with competitor landscape, new products and services, and new pricing and payment plans
- Create territory sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
- Ensure sustained profitability for all different SKUs and pack sizes
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times
- Ensure efficient customer life value management
- Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints
- Process order forms and requests
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum HND qualification (preferably in Business / Economics or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics))
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a sales role (entry level candidates with excellent sales skills will be considered)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (ability to analyse spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- Established relationships with relevant B2B clients (retailers, hotels, restaurants and cafés) is a plus.
