Job Summary
- As the Sales & Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and market leadership.
- You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to promote our energy and power solutions, expand market reach, and achieve revenue targets.
- Your exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and industry expertise will guide the sales and marketing teams towards success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales:
- Develop Sales Strategy: Formulate a strategic sales plan aligned with the company’s goals, market trends, and customer needs to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring a customer-centric approach in all interactions.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for growth, and lead efforts to secure new contracts and partnerships.
- Sales Forecasting and Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to forecast sales performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Sales Collateral and Tools: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral, tools, and resources to support the sales process.
Marketing:
- Develop Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and sales objectives.
- Brand Management: Lead efforts to enhance and maintain the company’s brand image and reputation in the energy and power industry.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends. Utilize data to refine marketing strategies and make informed decisions.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and content marketing to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product marketing plans that effectively communicate the value of our energy and power solutions.
- Marketing Budget Management: Responsible for managing the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maximizing ROI on marketing investments.
- Public Relations and Communications: Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to enhance the company’s public image and manage media relations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (10 years) in sales and marketing leadership roles within the energy and power industry or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of the energy and power market dynamics, including regulatory and technological considerations.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market share.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating successful sales and marketing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of digital marketing platforms and emerging marketing trends in the energy sector.
- A track record of successful brand campaigns and effective marketing initiatives.
